You’ll Need:
8 cloves of minced or grated garlic.
6 tbsps of extra virgin olive oil.
3 potatoes (200g each) cut into 12 wedges.
3 tbsps of cornstarch/cornflour.
1 ½ tsps of coarse sea salt.
1 ½ tsps of freshly ground black pepper.
½ tsp of garlic powder.
¼ tsp of cayenne pepper.
How to:
In a large bowl, warm together the oil and garlic for 1 minute.
Take 5 tbsps of the oil from the bowl and coat the baking sheet with it.
Now place the potatoes in the bowl with garlic and toss to coat, wrap in plastic and microwave on high for 3 to 6 minutes until the potatoes are translucent around the edges, shake the bowl halfway through.
In a small bowl, mix together the cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne and sprinkle over the potatoes and coat well.
Place the coated potatoes into the baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven to 440° for 30 to 40 minutes turning halfway through.
Easy, peasy and garlicky! This potatoes are so good guys, I serve them with ketchup, mayonnaise or sour cream. It take a little time to prepare but it’s worth it!
